INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Welcome to the INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING, PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCES (IJEPAS). We invite authors from across the globe to contribute original research articles, review papers, and technical notes that advance the fields of engineering, pure sciences, and applied sciences.

To ensure a smooth and efficient publication process, please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your manuscript.

1. MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the IJEPAS online submission system or by email as per the guidelines on our website. Submissions should be in English and prepared according to the specified formatting guidelines.

Before submission, authors are strongly advised to download the official Paper Format and Copyright Form to prepare their manuscripts correctly.

Please ensure all sections of the manuscript comply with the provided templates.

2. MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

a. General Formatting

    • Manuscripts should be typed in MS Word format, using Times New Roman font, size 12 pt, with 1.5 line spacing.

    • Margins must be set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.

    • Manuscript length should ideally not exceed 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

    • Include a title page with the article title, authors’ names, affiliations, corresponding author’s email, and contact details.

      • Acknowledgments (if any)The manuscript should be divided into the following sections:
        • Abstract (150–250 words)
        • Keywords (3–6 keywords)
        • Introduction
        • Materials and Methods (or Methodology)
        • Results
        • Discussion
        • Conclusion
        • References

b. Figures and Tables

    • Figures should be submitted as separate high-resolution files (JPEG, PNG, TIFF).

    • Tables should be editable and embedded within the manuscript.

    • Number all figures and tables consecutively, and provide captions below figures and above tables.

c. References

    • Use APA or IEEE citation style consistently.

    • List all references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

    • Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list and vice versa.

3. PEER REVIEW PROCESS

IJEPAS follows a double-blind peer review system to ensure impartiality and fairness. Manuscripts will be reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field.

    • Initial editorial screening checks for scope and formatting.

    • Peer reviewers assess originality, scientific validity, clarity, and relevance.

    • Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.

    • Final decision on acceptance or rejection rests with the editorial board.

The peer review process typically takes 4-6 weeks.

4. PUBLICATION CHARGES

To maintain the high quality and open accessibility of the journal, IJEPAS levies a publication fee after a manuscript is accepted.

    • For Indian authors, the publication cost is ₹8,500 (INR).

    • For authors outside India, the publication cost is 150 USD.

This fee covers editorial processing, peer review management, copy-editing, typesetting, online hosting, and archiving.

Note: Payment instructions will be provided upon acceptance of the manuscript.

5. COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING

Authors retain the copyright of their work but grant IJEPAS an exclusive license to publish and distribute the article in electronic and print formats.

    • Authors are required to sign the Copyright Transfer Form before publication.

    • The journal follows an Open Access policy, allowing free and unrestricted access to published articles.

6. ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS

    • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

    • Authors should disclose any conflicts of interest.

    • Plagiarism or data fabrication will result in immediate rejection.

    • Ethical approval and informed consent must be obtained for research involving human or animal subjects.
